REGISTERED PSYCHOLOGIST

Holistic Therapist for adults & teen girls in Calgary & Alberta

It's time to to work with your emotions instead of against them.

Laura Romero, Holistic Psychologist Calgary

Do you feel unclear, lost or stuck?

Are you struggling to make sense of your experiences?

Maybe you're frustrated, confused, or unsatisfied.

I work with adults of all genders and teenage girls so they can understand themselves on a deeper level.

My name is Laura, and I am a trauma-informed Holistic Psychologist. I am Canadian (of Polish, Ukrainian, English & Scottish origins) and I live on Treaty 7 land in Calgary.

I offer online therapy helping people with anxiety, ADHD, depression, grief, personal growth, relationship challenges, and trauma.

I use a holistic approach to access your internal motivation and power to help you achieve your goals.

With a holistic lens, we consider all areas of your life, including nutrition, exercise, sleep, social connections, values, personal growth, and spiritual awareness.

Exploring your mental, physical, emotional and spiritual health together can help you feel complete.

I help my clients create the changes they wish to make in their lives, and discover new perspectives, tools and resources along the way.

New perspectives lead to new opportunities, adventures, and lessons learned.

I believe you are a whole person made up of different parts that all play a vital role in your life.

I'll help you create a safe space where you can experience your parts and emotions. With flexibility and curiosity, you can learn to honor them all, no matter how uncomfortable some of them may feel at first. We want to listen to what your body is trying to tell you.

The mind-body connection is incredibly important and powerful. When you get to know your body language and become aware of how emotions show up in your body, you can build a robust sense of awareness and Self.

Our sessions are an opportunity for me to understand where you came from, what motivates you, what gets in your way, and where you would like to go.

Together, we will build your resiliency, openness, and relationship with yourself and others. We will work through the hard stuff and celebrate your victories.

If you feel that we may be a good fit, I offer a free 20 minute consultation, or you can book your first session online.

Therapy Alberta is an independent, profit for good, non-government therapy group practice serving Calgary & Alberta

Therapy Alberta respectfully acknowledges we are supported by the land of Turtle Island, now called Canada. Turtle Island is the home of the many First Nations, Métis and Inuit who have travelled, gathered, lived on and cared for these lands for centuries. Calling Canada our home is a privilege and responsibility. Declarations of land are only one component of our commitment to Truth and Reconciliation.

We are committed to new communities of decolonization. We strive to create safe, affirming, anti-racist and anti-oppressive spaces to welcome and provide free mental health care for people from Indigenous, Black, Color and LGBTQ+ communities and those impacted by trauma. Support our mission today.
